Avevo un’amica un tempo, ci legava un’amicizia intima, profonda. Le volevo molto bene, non passava giorno senza che glielo dicessi e che lei lo dicesse a me.
Era una persona che non perdeva occasione per dirmi quanto fossero importanti gli amici per Lei, che non poteva vivere senza, che non perdeva occasione per passare del tempo con loro, che perfino quando doveva andare in vacanza gli amici le mancavano.
Poi ho compiuto gli anni e questa amica non è riuscita a venire a farmi gli auguri. Allora io, che sono bravissimo a giustificare le cose più importanti ma altrettanto testone da fissarmi sulle cazzate, ho iniziato a farmi il film che se in tre mesi non aveva trovato cinque minuti per me forse non c’era poi tutto ‘sto bene da parte sua, che forse questa di amicizia per Lei non era così importante… e ho tagliato i ponti. Me ne sono andato.
Ho sbagliato, perchè agli amici ci si dà e basta senza mai pretendere niente in cambio. Gli si vuole bene e basta.
Ora, dopo quasi tre mesi di assenza, vorrei solo poter avere l’occasione di guardarla ancora una sola volta negli occhi per dirle quanto mi dispiace di essermi comportato così.
