Pubblicato il 16 giugno 2014, Maps è il singolo che anticipa il prossimo album dei Maroon 5, in uscita a settembre.

Per il nuovo album, il loro quinto, che infatti si intitolerà V, i Maroon 5 hanno collaborato con Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Shellback, Ryan Tedder e Sam Martin. Per il singolo in oggetto: Blanco, Tedder e Noel Zancanella, con i quali in passato avevano collaborato per Love Somebody, quarto estratto da Overexposed.
