Ed Sheeran e Ultimo – 2step – Con Testo e Traduzione
Pubblicata il 6 maggio 2022, 2step feat. Ultimo è la versione per l’Italia dell’omonima canzone di Ed Sheeran. Dello stesso brano il cantante inglese il 22 aprile 2022 ne ha pubblicato un remix con il rapper americano Lil Baby e il 2 maggio 2022 una versione con la band pop-rock ucraina Antytila. In totale sono nove le versioni, oltre a queste anche da Finlandia, Svezia, Australia, Francia, Regno Unito, Irlanda e Brasile.
Il brano è contenuto in = (“equals”), quinto album in studio di Ed Sheeran, pubblicato il 29 ottobre 2021 da Asylum e Atlantic Records . L’album è stato supportato dai singoli Bad Habits, Shivers, Overpass Graffiti, The Joker and the Queen, 2step e un singolo promozionale, Visiting Hours.
Nel 2019 Ed Sheeran era a Roma per il suo concerto alla Stadio Olimpico e in quell’occasione ha conosciuto Ultimo, uno dei cantautori più importanti della scena musicale italiana recente.
Verso la fine dello scorso anno si sono incontrati di nuovo a Los Angeles e lì Ed gli ha proposto di scrivere, appunto, una strofa per 2step.
