Negli spot vengono mostrati Leon, un bambino che balla in una classe di danza a ritmo dell’intramontabile Scatman; Bill, un gigante super stylish che torna bambino sfrecciando sul carrello di un market sulle note di Panjabi MC; e Steph, che racconta la complicità femminile e la forza di prendersi ciò che si desidera con sottofondo di Gotta Go Up di Tylynn.
Panjabi MC – Mundian To Bach Ke
Panjabi MC, è un artista, rapper, produttore e DJ indiano britannico di etnia punjabi. È meglio conosciuto per il successo mondiale del bhangra del 2002 Mundian To Bach Ke, che ha venduto 10 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo, rendendolo uno dei singoli più venduti di tutti i tempi.
Oltre alle caratteristiche della musica bhangra, “Mundian To Bach Ke” utilizza anche la linea di basso e parte del ritmo di Fire It Up (1997) di Busta Rhymes , che a sua volta si basa su un campione del sigla televisiva per Knight Rider (in Italia conosciuta come Supercar), scritta da Glen A. Scatman – Scatman John
Scatman ( Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) è una canzone del musicista americano Scatman John. È stata pubblicato nel novembre 1994 come singolo e successivamente è stato ripubblicata nel luglio 1995 per il suo secondo album, Scatman’s World (1995). La canzone è descritta come “una miscela di scat jazz, rap e ritmi house“. Ha raggiunto il numero uno delle classifiche in almeno nove paesi e ha anche vinto l’Echo Award del marzo 1996 in Germania per il miglior singolo Rock/Pop.
Il video di Scatman è stato pubblicato nel 1994 e diretto da Kerstin Mueller. È stato girato in bianco e nero e presenta uno schermo fratturato con diverse scatole che mostrano scene di John che canta, insieme a varie persone che ballano, mimano e suonano la batteria.
