Anime False (titolo originale Biz Kimden Kaçıyorduk Anne) è una serie thriller turca adattamento dell’omonimo libro di Perihan Magden del 2007. La prima stagione composta da sette episodi è stata distribuita nel marzo 2023 ed è disponibile sulla piattaforma di streaming Netflix.

La trama

Una madre e una giovane figlia hanno un legame indissolubile. Sono state in fuga per un po’, soggiornando in hotel di lusso, continuando a spostarsi… Ma quando gli hotel di lusso vengono sostituiti da squallidi motel, diventa chiaro che non è così una favola. Quando scopriamo che dietro c’è una scia di cadaveri, ci rendiamo conto che forse, la madre non è la preda ma il cacciatore. Quale sarà la loro via d’uscita?
