Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (In Italia solo Sonic 3) è un film commedia d’azione e avventura basato sulla serie di videogiochi pubblicata da Sega. Sequel di Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) e Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), è diretto da Jeff Fowler da una sceneggiatura di Pat Casey, Josh Miller e John Whittington, basata su una storia di Casey e Miller. L’uscita del film in Italia è prevista per il 1° gennaio 2025.

Milan Records ha pubblicato l’album della colonna sonora ufficiale che contiene la musiva originale del film composta da Tom Holkenborg (alias Junkie XL) che in precedenza aveva composto la musica per il primo e il secondo capitolo.

La colonna sonora è stata pubblicata in formato digitale il 20 dicembre 2024 ed è disponibile per lo streaming/download su Amazon e su tutti gli altri principali servizi di musica digitale. L’etichetta aveva precedentemente pubblicato It’s a Sonic Christmas di Ruwanga Samath come singolo digitale, mentre Republic Records aveva pubblicato la canzone originale Run It di Jelly Roll.
