La trama
Edgar-Jones interpreta Kate Carter, un’ex cacciatrice di tempeste perseguitata da un incontro devastante con un tornado durante i suoi anni al college, che ora studia i modelli di tempesta sugli schermi in tutta sicurezza a New York City. Viene attirata di nuovo nelle pianure aperte dal suo amico Javi per testare un nuovo rivoluzionario sistema di tracciamento. Lì, incrocia Tyler Owens (Powell), l’affascinante e spericolato superstar dei social media che prospera pubblicando le sue avventure di caccia alle tempeste con la sua chiassosa squadra, più sono pericolose, meglio è.
Con l’intensificarsi della stagione delle tempeste, si scatenano fenomeni terrificanti mai visti prima e Kate, Tyler e i loro team concorrenti si ritrovano direttamente sul percorso di più sistemi di tempeste che convergono sull’Oklahoma centrale, nella lotta della loro vita.
